Water Treatment Chemicals 99% Min Tech Grade&Food Grade Sodium Gluconate

Product DescriptionSodium gluconateis the sodium salt of gluconic acid, produced by fermentation of glucose. It is a white to tan, granular to fine, crystalline powder, very soluble in water. The outstanding property of sodium gluconate is its excellent chelating power, especially in alkaline and concentrated alkaline solutions. It forms stable chelates with calcium, iron, copper, aluminium and other heavy metals, and in this respect, it surpasses all other chelating agents, such as EDTA, NTA and related compounds.Aqueous solutions of sodium gluconate are resistant to oxidation and reduction, even at high temperatures. However, it is easily degraded biologically (98 % after 2 days), and thus presents no wastewater problem.Sodium gluconate is also a highly efficient set retarder and a good plasticiser / water reducer for concrete, mortar and gypsum.Product Parameters ItemStandardResultAppearanceWhite crystal granule or powderQualifiedSolubleColorless or slightly yellow,Almost ClearQualifiedSmellWith the inherent special smellQualifiedAssay (%)≥ 9899.65   Whiteness (%)≥7580Loss on drying (%)≤ 0.50.4Reducing substances %≤ 0.50.3Chloride %≤ 0.050.01Sulphate%≤ 0.050.01PH Value ( 10% solution )6.2-7.87.5Heavy metals ( pb ), mg/kg≤ 5< 5Arsenic mg/kg                ≤ 1< 1Conclusion:The product above complies with the standard of TECH GRADE.Company Profile/* January 22, 2024 19:08:37 */!function(){function s(e,r){var a,o={};try{e&&e.split(",").forEach(function(e,t){e&&(a=e.match(/(.*?):(.*)$/))&&1
